It occurs to me (often) that I employ a rather fractured mode of storytelling for Ironborn, at least during the slower swathes of narrative. Only the occasional scene lasts more than two or three pages, and every other conversation is used more for building atmosphere and dropping subtle references to other subplots than for forwarding the plot. It’s inefficient, but I like it. I like to think that it’s the sort of telling that adds feeling to a second reading, although of course that’s of little help to anyone at this point.

Panel two of this page features what is likely the spunkiest pose yet to feature in Ironborn. I like to think that panel six features the laziest artistic solution yet, but honestly we all know I’ve done worse.

Out-shouts!Everybody loves loudly drawn technicolor adventures in space, and this is why you should be reading Intragalactic.
